grungy-gonads 54
1983 I think it said, from Syndey. That massive ultra baggy bright pink suit hanging on Mr Bowies thin frame. The hair. The naff 'acting'/story. Those piano/keyboard sounds. The saxaphone solos. Oh dear. Some 80's stuff really could only be from the 80's couldn't it. Never knew David Bowie could be so naff. Were those things ever a good idea, I wonder.

veronica 2
They really go for it don't they U2. Before sumemr DM did a stadium tour of Europe and lots of people were disappointed as they didn't really up the scale for the occasion. The stage was simply not fitting the scale of the concert. I'm glad I didn't go, I'd much rather have an indoor concert. That U2 concert setup does look impressive though. I quite like some of Muse, heard a few from the new album. Bonkers but good. grungy-gonads 54
How can such a brilliant song have such an awful offputting music video?

joshnii 2
Muse, forced to play to playback, decide to have fun and swap their positions. The real singer/guitarist is the one on drums. The real bass player is the one on keyboards at the beginning. The real drummer is the one on the left singing.
grungy-gonads 54
In the interview after the song he keeps it up by calling Matt Bellamy "our drummer". Funny.

RobBright 35
Great until the last three tunes of pure Bellamy wankathon music. Black Holes is a better overall album by far
BagOfCrisps 24
I quite like that bit actually. At least they try and do something a bit different.

veronica 2
I like that last 3 tune bit too. Interesting band Muse, don't think he's a particularly good singer and they would be better with a better singer - would love to hear the dulcet tones of Dave Gahan with Muse music - but still really like them. Black Holes had a brilliant first half but trailed off after those first 4 tracks I think the new one is more consistent.
ShinyDiscoBall 2
Here's a shout for Paddy McAloon and Prefab Sprout. Silly name aside, they made some cracking songs and the new/old album they have out now has some goodies on it too. He has a scary monster beard going on these days
