Said before I've never been a huge U2 fan but I was very impressed with their concert - one of the best I've been to and certainly the most in terms of scale and presentation. It was a quality performance and I like them more now than I did.

veronica 2
Hotel was very average. Too much Moby singing - bad idea - and guitars I think. Play is his best - and best enjoyed if you didn't hear all the ads with the songs in! Everything is Wrong is good too. 18 ok but not as good as Play.

veronica 2
Not at all, I like guitars. though not always. All I meant was with "Hotel" Moby was losing what he is good at and just become some generic guitar/pop band with not very good vocals (his). What he is best at is more electronic based. That's all. gerard 6
Yeah, I was kind of joking. With Hotel I guess he was trying to please everyone. Not the best approach to music... or anything for that matter, probably.
veronica 2
He should stick with the guest vocals as well, his own are poor. His new album is ok and a bit more in the style of Play, though a bit dull and not as good. I'd go with Play and 18.

PWL 0
Well thanks to the U2 concert the other week I have discovered Elbow. They were really good live and last week I went out and got their latest album, The Seldom Seen Kind. What a fantastic album it is. Going to get their other two as well.
