  1. I was wearing my ski boots while doing the dishes the other day. The snow can't fall soon enough!
  2. Hey Santa Cruz re: Niseo transfer - I am working with someone named Haruka. S/He seems amazing and is definitely very friendly and helpful. Hope this helps!
  3. Awesome. If you need anyone to ride with this winter, let me know. Baker is a bit of a drive, but doesn't have the crowds that Crystal, Stevens and Snoqualmie get. If you need help booking Niseko hotel/transfer, I have a great person in Japan I am working with.
  4. Schweitzer Resort in Idaho was my first time skiing. Koenigsleiten, Austria was my first international ski trip. Niseko will be my first time ever in Japan, and Asia for that matter!
  5. Nah, I was good. I even shoveled all the snow off the front steps after a day of skiing.
  6. I got the ticket thru SFO on All Nippon Airways. Looks like I'll have a few hours to kill at NRT on my way to CTS and a few hours in SFO on the way home. Where are you moving to?
  7. When I was at Portillo I met one guy who I ended up skiing with all week. He extended an invite for me to ski with him at Breckenridge and stay at his house there. I made the arrangements but his plans had changed, so when I got to Colorado, I briefly met up with him and he gave me the keys to his place up at Breck and told me to have fun!
  8. Santa Cruz: I am in Madison Valley. Tix to Sapporo this winter are cheap...$850 r/t. Can't wait to get to Niseko. Was in Portillo, Chile last summer and had a blast! Excited to see how the 2nd snowiest resort on the planet stacks up to Mt. Baker.
  9. Making my way to Niseko from Seattle at the end of January 2010. Would be great to meet other advanced skiers to ride/drink with!
