oo 1
The Odessa File. An oldie. I like old war-time movies.
Tubby Beaver 209
Just watched the Bourne Ultimatum, wasn't too bad, except for the ending, thot that sucked big time
tsondaboy 0
Shaun of the dead, funny zombie movie parody.
IIIII 2
That was good. And was it Hot Fuzz?
Tubby Beaver 209
I've only seen the trailer for hot fuzz, where the fat cop runs thru the fence instead of hopping over it, looks FAF!!
tsondaboy 0
Is it released in Japan? ( I just watched Shaun of the dead for a second time )
Tubby Beaver 209
It was out in the UK ages ago, last year some time, I think just before the summer
spook 0
hot fuzz is brilliant. i've watched it a couple of times. there's also a kiwi zombie sheep movie called black sheep out. it looks good for those who like funny/gory zombie flicks
BagOfCrisps 24
Inside Man was interesting. Not brilliant but I couldn't guess the plan until fairly late on. (I'm a bit dozy that might explain it).
Ken of Kentropolis 0
Saw Green Mile last night. It made me quite sad at the end, especially as my granmother recently died. (No she wasn't a convict on death row!) Made me quite emotional.
moloneb3 0
I saw the Upside of Anger last night. It was ok, some funny bits in it. Although, it did make me question how Kevin Costner fell off the scence so ungracefully after Dances with Wolves & The Bodyguard?!
muikabochi 208
Did you watch The Postman. (Best not to!)
thursday 1
Highly recommend this one again. Black Hawk Down. Good body count in this movie.
base40 0
Close Encounters. The new, new, new (new) version that has just been released. ( Well it's packaging is new anyway )
Tubby Beaver 209
I liked Black Hawk Down as well, good action and body count (bearing in mind its based on REAL people actually dying). Even if the plot was shit, I'd still have liked it just to hear Trainspotting twosome Ewans' McGregor and Bremner attempt an American accent!!!
thursday 1
I especially like these quotes: "Hoot": When I go home people'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? What, you some kinda war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is. "Hoot": Y'know what I think? Don't really matter what I think. Once that first bullet goes past your head, politics and all that shit just goes right out the window.
scouser 4
I didn't like that movie actually. Anyone here mad on Bladerunner?
soubriquet 0
I think Bladerunner is brilliant. Just watched Harry Potter 5. Not great but a lot of fun and it's always nice to see an ensemle performance by the Great and Good of British acting. Imelda Staunton was wonderful as Dolores Umbridge, and David Thewless very effective as Lupin. Alan Rickman as Snape is the personification of my Latin teacher.
muikabochi 208
I have never seen Bladerunner though it has one big reputation I would like to see it.
