HoTRoD 2
Funny how when the aircons go on, sometimes you get too COLD.
indosnm 0
I never used air cons in OZ but here... love em. love the chilly feeling... pity my wife doesn't!
slow 0
AAAAAAAAAAAtsui! I need to turn on aircon this morning!
scouser 4
Just right. A bit chilly in the middle of all this heat is just fine by me.
miteyak 0
You dont have "the aircon's on high but i'm still roasting me nuts off" which gets my vote... Generally at home i'm sitting there in me grundies and the (Aussie) missus is wrapped in a fleece blanket.
Yuki's Passion 1
I dont have an aircon Quit your Bitchin!
veronica 2
I would be utterly miserably if I didn't have my 2 aircon in my house. 1 in the main room, the other in the bedroom.
Ocean11 0
> Generally at home i'm sitting there in me grundies Is that a bit of an Avon/Somerset thing d'you reckon miteyak? It's funny but that's what attracted Mrs 11 to me at first - my stylish grundies and my stubborn refusal to waste a single yen on the aircon whichever tart happened to be visiting in the middle of summer. No aircon here either. I can't stand that artificial cool and then the shock going out of it. Plus using the aircon actually makes the outside several degrees hotter for everybody, in the short and long term.
miteyak 0
To be honest, in the first year or so I'd strut around butt naked, but, you know, as lust turns to love, "corr blimey gov'na I fancy a bit o' that" becomes "get yer sweaty arse orf the sofa" I blame it on the uncivilized temperature and lack of suitable hill retreat myself. Promotes a rather large dose of savagery, i'm afraid...what is country lad to do?
oo 1
I'll take artifical cool over real sweltering uncomfortable heat/humidity any day.
green 0
me too. I was a bit ketch at first with the aircon, but I was miserable with it. Now it is on a lot of the time, it dont cost that much extra but its definitely worth it.
2pints-mate 0
I cant imagine living somwehere so hot and humid without airconditioning - how do you survive and keep sane?
rachael 0
I'd much rather have natural cool, but must admit to being dependant on my aircon as well. Better than too hot. The place I used to be in didnt have one and I had to make do with a stupid fan, almost useless them things unless you are motionless sat in front of them.
Yuki's Passion 1
Keep sane? Sane? In this sweltering you think Im sane? Whats wrong with you? Dont you know that its only going to get hotter too?
slow 0
Who can survive today's heat without aircon? I can't. I'll not get out of our cold office today.
oblivion 5
Aircon = need. Hey slow, what exactly is this >>
slow 0
This is beautiful, isn't this? I like art and architecuture. "Yoko Ono + Arata Isozaki" This partnership is very attractive for me. the snow show

slow 0
I forgot to turn off aircon last night... I had good sleep but don't feel good this morning. I got cold body...
giggsy 0
Aircons are not needed in Manchester.
Telleboy 0
Im glad I dont live in the big cities. Me and the missus walk around in the raw all day so were OK but the dogs having a rough time with the heat as it her first summer ever, think Im gonna have to shave her. mattlucas 0
You bastards with AC. "I hate you and I hate school" Anybody get that quote. I think that's how it goes. Adam Sandlers best movie by far. and this question - Too cold! Brrrrrr. Where's Toque's woolie hat? Should be - Too cold! Brrrrrr. Where's Toque's woolie Toque? The big problem isn't the heat. Yes it's unbearable. But for me the biggest issue is teaching a class of 40 students which are 17 to 18 year old girls who smell worse than a Hockey locker room
akibun 0
I have one aircon, and it makes me happy about it! Before I lived without and it was not fun.
BagOfCrisps 24
Maybe not in a home giggsy, but down here more and more places are getting air conditioners. Global warming, I reckon.
fukdane 2
My aircon is getting a rest today for a change. Actually quite cool. But I wish it would stop raining.
