69 5
We all want the Jpop to go, but have you ever requested a resort to put on some different music? I'm going to this time. I might even take some cds.
scouser 4
I'm going to take my Whams greatest hits and ask for Last Christmas on 25th Dec. Long shot but hope they might do it.
Oyuki kigan 0
Bel Biv Devoe!

Kumapix 0
Nice one scouser I'm going to bring that song that is the official song of the volleyball championships going on right now. I hope they still play it after the tournament is over!

merryJim 1
What to get a copy of all the lovely jpop?
BagOfCrisps 24
Can someone burn me a nice jpop compilation? That would be good. We miss out on it here, for some reason it hasn't caught on in the uk. Don't some resorts take requests, I'm sure I read they did - complete with djs.
LiquidX 0
If I remember correctly, Gala have a dj and you can put in requests.
The Takayama Tearer 0
I wish they would give dance hall reggae a break. I really hate that shit. I would prefer Beethoven, or some other epic kind of classical music.
kaiser soce 0
They played Metallica once when I was at Moiwa!
scouser 4
Can't remember where but I remember once place playing albums - obscure album filler tracks and all. I think it was Def Leppard or something. Some 80's rock type outfit. Curious hearing all that on the slopes. Slightly better than Kinki Kids I suppose.
DumbStick 13
Don't know about anyone else but I'm going to request Mariah Careys All I Want For Christmas. I wonder if they'll have that one.
scouser 4
They won't have that one...
coldcat 0
I'm not a big fan of J-Pop, in fact, I think I can safely say that for the most part I utterly detest it, however, for some strange reason when I am on the slopes I am quite happy with it. I wouldn't change it. There's something about "nighta" riding in Japan to ayumi hamazaki (or any other J-pop singer/group) while it's snowing that just seems plain right to me. Oyuki kigan 0
there is something about walking around in harujuku with Lou Reed`s `A Perfect Day` playing in my headphones that creeps me out in a big way. i suspect listening to J-pop while enjoying powder would be a similar sensation. thursday 1
J-pop is alright. The worst thing that could happen is having Canto-pop played on the slopes. That really would shut down a resort.
coldcat 0
Thursday, I disagree, the worst thing that could happen is having Western pop on the slopes... Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, ... I am not a big fan of J-pop (or C-pop for that matter) but in my opinion pop in the West sucks even more.
samurai 0
no pop. (yes western pop sucks more... perhaps because it's easier to understand and therefor harder to block-out) I vote Tool or Oakenfold. we had a late night at a club field in NZ blaring tool over the loud speaker. heaven it was, i'm telling ya. 11pm,Tool, beer, powder, nut-crackers... mmmmmm
