firedog23 0
Granted there is only one mountain range to base it on but you have to throw Aomori into the mix just for the simple fact Hakkoda is there.
grungy-gonads 54
I think Hiroshima might win. Oops not on there

nzlegend 1
You need terrain to go with your butterlucsious pow. New York city had their worst snowstorm on record this week, 70cm in central park and apparently it was dry powder and was getting badly windblown, 70 cm of dry pow in Central park - they had some of the best snow in the world this week. Hokkaido and north Honshu probably have the driest snow but for some of us it takes more than just good snow for it to be a good time I'm not voting

sausage-factory-worker 0
Nagano has the best in my experience. Don't rate Niigata at all.
slow 0
I've never been to Akita, Iwate and Gifu. I don't know about the snow there. I believe that Hokkaido is stably good snow. Hokkaido is much drier than anywhere else in Japan, isn't it? I can't go to Hokkaido without hand cream. Shigakogen(Okushiga) was also amazingly good last winter but it was only for a few hours in the morning.
cal 6
The best snow I have experienced I think was at Kagura. The timing was the best though, I think any place would have been excellent on that day.
taguchi 0
In my experience the main 3 Hokkaido is best - powder, just so good so much of time Nagano - often excellent, maybe not as reliable as Hokkaido. Niigata - can be good, but generally wetter than Nagano.
muikabochi 208
I remember when I first went over to Shiga Kogen and Nozawa and rode that snow I thought..... Wow.
