sanjo 2
The mention of Hakkaisan in the snow talk area reminded me of the Hakkaisan beer. Very nice, I like that.
Tubby Beaver 209
yeah me too, there used to be a restaurant near mines that served it on tap, the dark beer was particularly good. sadly its closed now
muikabochi 208
Silly moan but they could do with a redesign on the label, a but amateur looking I always thought. Beer is great though.

soubriquet 0
Beer 2011. Great idea, I'm off to the fridge for a tinny of Kirin. Can't wait for autumn, and the Aki Beer.

grungy-gonads 54
Nice. Didn't know they did that. Well, I know they don't know there but you know what I mean. Perhaps.
muikabochi 208
They do it on draught at.... Hakkai-san Brewery about 7km from here. Haven't been for a while, might take the lady sometime soon.

igloo 3
Didn't like that one at all. Only around Valentines day? I'm drinking lots of Ebisu at the moment always a good one to have in the fridge.
IIIII 2
Are there any sexy summer beers (ala aki aji and winter story...)?
mitchpee 10
Probably my two favorite Utah beers.
RobBright 35
In futamatagawa, a new, and very tasty, curry shop has opened up, and sells Nepalese beers. I had the Mustang and was quite a "wet" beer in that it wasn't crisp.
loaf of bread 0
Futamatagawa. Haha I can't say that word. Where does it end?!
RobBright 35
I know - its bloody long, and most Japanese people seem to think I live in futakotamagawa.
loaf of bread 0
Still having trouble saying it even slowly
soubriquet 0
A curry house. Sigh. I have to go to Sendai (70km) to get a decent curry. It ends up being once every three years when I renew my visa and re-entry permit. No beers either, driving.
muikabochi 208
Even worse here, further! For something half decent anyway.
grungy-gonads 54
There you go living in the city does have some good things about it. Having said that, nothing beats a good curry back in England.
Thundercat 60
Was at the Baird 11th anniversary the other day. Man, they make a tasty beer! Celebrated a good day of surfing in Numazu with some Numazu Lager!

2pints-mate 0
Here's a question. What is the biggest selling beer over there? Is it Asahi or Kirin?
pie-eater 207
Hmmm I think I remember hearing that it is Asahi Super Dry.
Tubby Beaver 209
It used to be Ichiban Shibori, but now I think its Asahi.....thats why Kirin dropped the "ichiban" from the beers name....no?
