RobBright 35
Green car, yeah, the plush nice section on the trains away from commoners. Went up to Tokyo yesterday, well Akihabara, to sell some ps3 and xbox360 games, and thought I would treat myself to the green car. On the Tokaido line platform, there is a New Days just by the green cars, and popped in to get some snacks. Saw Sapporo Classic so bought some. Hadn't seen it for a long time, besides the posh shops like Queens Isetan or Seijo Ishii, so picked up a few. Very tasty.
muikabochi 208
I like that one too. Green cars hey. I have never looked into it, how much more are they than a normal ticket?
RobBright 35
Depends on the distance and day. If bought before getting on the green car Weekday <50kms 750 yen >51kms 950yen Weekend and holiday. <50kms 550yen >51kms 750yen If bought on the green car, add 250 yen to those prices. Slippery Jim 65
Watch for ``Hokkaido Fairs'' at your local supermarket; often available in bulk at those.

grungy-gonads 54
I reckon a couple of cases at the beginning and then maybe a third later on. Or perhaps I should just get 3 cases up front, it's all the same stock anyway.

muikabochi 208
Never had any Hawaiian beer. Hmmmm. Always good to try new beer though!
Tubby Beaver 209
They do a few different kinds and I've tried a few of them, all surf related.....pretty good. My local supermarket also stocks Primo Beer, from Hawaii. Very similar to Samuel Adams IMO....which is fine, cos I like Samuel Adams!
RobBright 35
Is that queens isetan? Am on my way there now with a kirin ice + beer. Tis alright, quite a rich taste.
pie-eater 207
The sun has now gone down and it's getting dark here now sitting outside my 'lodge' or whatever you want to call it, overlooking a tranquil lake. Lovely. Oh yes, beer. The current one is called Copper Dragon 'Golden Pippin', brewed it says here in Skipton, North Yorkshire. And it's rather nice as well.
