I suppose it is just a case of denial. I know I have gone through stages where I have gradually gained weight and noticed that I was doing so but didn't do much about it. I was enjoying the eating and drinking too much.... "I'll diet next month" that kind of thing. I've always changed the habits before it got too bad though and lose the weight.

I don't find food to be too expensive here... apart from things like fruit. Not a huge amount of choice either for many of the things I like cheeses, meats, etc)

I was watching some news/documentary program last night and it was going on about ganguro girls (you know that look), but also talking about "banba". Is banba a subset of ganguro. They all looked bloody ridiculous (and generaly quite busu as well), what are they thinking?

Got myself 10 days off together in early February that I'm really stoked about. The fun thing now is deciding what to do with them.
