  1. Wanna give a shout out to Mitch and Chris at Snowbeds. They know all the stash spots and rule the town. Cant go wrong with them and their crew, even if you er manage to ya know get all ripped and crash a bus. Hope to see you boys sometime out in da islands. Your bud, DA BUSDRIVER
  2. Ill be up there for the last week of Jan. Would love to hook up with some people who are familiar with the terrain.
  3. So if I decide to poach some trees on a power day at 47 later this month I can expect to have ski patrol on my arse? Sticking to the groomers all day.....I mean cmon, thats weak. Who does that besides begginers and older people who like to carve on their raceboards.

  5. Is rain on the mountians during the winter common in Hakuba are?
  6. Joho, I am staying at Snowbeds (backpacker place) in Hakuba from Jan 25-29th. Its run by a guy named Mitch who is real helpful. Its also real cheap-about 3,000 yen/night.

  10. Does anyone think its possible to arrive into Nagano station at 20:24 (Shinkansen #561) via Tokyo and still make the last Hakuba bus at 20:35? I am curious if its possible given that there is only a 10 minute difference between the two and i will still have to buy the bus ticket once I arrive at Nagano. Thanks.

  13. Thanks. Sounds like kind of a mission to go to Hakuba. Should be intersting considering I dont speak a lick of Japanese. Any other recommendations on where to go that would be easy for a clueless Hawaiian such as myslef to get to from Narita? Oh yeh, in case your intersted the waves in Hawaii have been FIRING!!
