BFGs Water Polo coach told me to feed him 2 pig trotters boiled in veggies per day for that very reason - the cartilage and collagen apparently speed bone repair. I struggled with the idea, as did he - so we never went looking for where we could even source them. There is however a restuarant in the US that serves ONLY pig trotters and is reputed to be the place to go for a meal once a week if you wish to avoid botox yet have the same results....
