thursday 1
bears, they're friggin dangerous bastards. Forget letting your kids go thinking they're all teddy and like. They'll eat ya.
Jynxx 4
Unusual ... Black bears are timid and would rather stay away from humans. Unless curiosity takes over. Only time I get nervous is when I see cub tracks.
Tubby Beaver 209
are they in all mountainous regions in Japan? I'd pit my shanties if I was out hiking and saw one!! Should do what we did in Scotland 300 years ago.....killed em all!!
Jynxx 4
You won't find one in Kamakura or Izu, but yeah they are around. They do not hunt for meat . They do scavenge. They are like medicine man of the wild, whatever they eat, humans can eat. The scary ones are the brown bears. Higuma in Japanese. They are in Hokkaido. Aggressive. Likes coming down to the river to fish.
thursday 1
I hate bears. Hate them more than wolves. Especially hate those polar bears. I'll drive my car more just to drown those bastards.

Jynxx 4
I'd rather have a bear in my backyard than a strange human. Let me put it in a different way. I'd feel safer with a gun with humans in some places ... bears, unless it's a grizzly I'm fine
brit-gob 9
The bear would need to be secured with a powerful chain!

HelperElfMissy 42
Underpants that don't discriminate against lefties... A new range of men's underpants by UK-based "Hom", will have a horizontal opening instead of a vertical slit accessed from the right-hand side, breaking a tradition that has lasted for 75 years. Almost 10 per cent of British men are believed to be left handed, but men's Y-fronted underpants have traditionally had a right-handed opening from the time they were invented in 1935. news story Well I'll be... scouser 4
On the subject of silk, would like to sleep in a silky bed one day.
HelperElfMissy 42
Not all it is cracked up to be! I much prefer a high thread count cotton sheet. I distinctly recall buying silky satin sheets not long after Papa and I were married, and getting all fancied up in my new purchase from a Barbarella's party...then jumping into the bed.... I slid across like I was on a water slide and landed on the floor on the other side of the bed, taking my new groom with me.
thursday 1
nothing like fresh cotton sheets. The silk stuff feels hot next to the skin.
