BagOfCrisps 24
I wanted the scousers to win as well. Oh well. I don't want either to win the final. Is that possible somehow?
rach 1
It would be wouldn't it. I hope we have a good game tomorrow and really beat West Ham. They have been one of the stubborn teams against United of late.
scouser 4
Still smarting after Liverpool being chucked out of the CL. It was deserved I suppose. Riise will be doing a lot of reflecting now. Ballack does look different from last year. Like you though, Mr Wiggles, I can't stand Chelsea either.
Tubby Beaver 209
Can't believe that Rangers got through to the UEFA cup final. Beat Fiorientina on pens to meet Zenit St Petersburg in the Final. They whooped Munich 5-1!!
2pints-mate 0
Now that was an exciting game. Fantastic result too. The race is on the 2 titles now.
grungy-gonads 54
On at a decent time tonight - can watch it and then go out.
rach 1
ok big big game tonight don't mess up United
thursday 1
4-1. What a mess. Should've been 6.
rach 1
Yes, but I'm happy all the same. Can't admit to liking Nani at all - and that butt and dive was just ridiculous. Like him even less now. I'm going to enjoy the Chelsea match tonight. Come on OWEN!!!!
thursday 1
Nicky Butt wants to do it for Fergie apparently, hot he's uses protection.
big-will 7
So it's all on for the last day of the season. If I remember the games are all played at the same time. That'll be a nailbiter. The sun reckons the real trophy will be on it's way to Wigan, with a backup sent to Stamford Bridge in case they win.
2pints-mate 0
See you next week! The pressure is ON!
BagOfCrisps 24
What would happen if both won their games, with Chelsea scoring 20 (or whatever it takes to make up the goal difference)?
thursday 1
It'll count the wavelength of their strips. ManU should play in red, so they should pip the blues
rach 1
It will be a nerve-wracking game but I believe!
2pints-mate 0
It sure will. I'd say United have the more pressure, even if they are still in charge so to speak. Wigan can be tricky. Can't wait.
BagOfCrisps 24
I can't decide which to watch. Lots of flicking I suspect.
bobby12 0
"What would happen if both won their games, with Chelsea scoring 20 (or whatever it takes to make up the goal difference)?" I think it then goes on goals scored, so +50 -30 is better than +40 -20. If I remember rightly that's how Arsenal beat Liverpool to the division one title back in 89 when mickey thomas scored and they beat us 2-0 at anfield.
thursday 1
but these days, it would go to the team with the most money or shirts sold worldwide.
2pints-mate 0
Not quite thursday... there are rules you know. I think.
thursday 1
this is very hyperthetical as I don't see Chelsea scoring more than -
pie-eater 207
I'm conflicted. I want Wigan to win the game, I don't want Chelsea to win the league. Best result is Chelsea losing on Sunday.
scouser 4
Chances of Chelsea being beaten is very low - United are going to have to go and win it.
2pints-mate 0
Sunday is going to be tough and nervewracking but I want it to start now. Unfortunately I can't be at SB this game. Thing about this weekend is the huge mindset advantage the winners will get for the CL final.
