Tubby Beaver 209
Do JR still do those special ride and ski tickets?? I'm sure when I was here last time (about 4 yrs ago) they did a combined train and ski lift pass

x67 0
I have only been in Hakuba for a couple of hours on the way up north (long story) but I was very impressed with the way the mountains were all lined up. Spectacular scenery, probably some of the best I have seen and I can imagine it would be wonderful in winter. I'm quite a way off now though, in Fukushima, and so this region will be my playground.
