  1. Actually I was looking at Helly Hansen. Baggy is OK I can live with that it is just the legs are like 20-30cm to long. Kissmark length is OK (yeah the name sucks) I am after quality name isn't really an issue. Sorry fattwins but I refuse to own any Nike goods quality or not. Personal mission!
  2. Just a quick question. Who the hell makes snowboard pants that aren't too long in the legs? I have been looking around and can't find much with a decent length. OK not so quick- what is Kissmark gear like, my Japanese friends say mama! Also Town & Country, not to sure about them, more a fashion brand in my opinion. Any suggestion/ideas apart from growing some more those days are over!
  3. I've been twice to the snow festival. It is pretty cool (& pretty cold -14d cel). The best days are week days but it does get busy. I also recommend checking out the Sapporo Beer Factory, take the tour and you get 40min nomihodi. I am sure it was free!! Try the Genghis Khan mmmmm! The nearest resort I think is Sapporo Kokusai Ski Area about an hour out of town. I haven't been there but it is usually one of the last places to close every year.
  4. Thanks for the advice Slow! My wife is saying should should do some study to better herself.
  5. Compulsory drug testing at work! Does this mean I have to test drugs guinea pig style.
  6. Indosnm, my wife does that at home stuff for her 'free money'. The pay is crap, 1 month maybe 10000- 25000 a month. A women doing the same thing was making 50000 a month going hard. Anyway she ended up with serious RSI which required surgery. Needless to say there is no insurance with those jobs. So after busting her a#*e to make peanuts she basically spent it all on medical bills. When I came to Japan I worked in a restuarant on about 680 p/hr. I have 13yrs experiance in the Hospitality industry, also I have a Diploma in Graphic design. These don't seem to mean shit here, language ability
  7. Sanjo- don't know it just disappeared! That's a replacement. Man, when will people learn umbrella+ typhoon just doesn't mix But it is entertaining to watch Nice pic Yuki P.
  8. I recommend Au too. Actually I was with AU then changed to Vodafone. What a waste of money Vodafone is. I find the reception/service very poor. I am also on a family plan but the savings outways the service, it isn't worth it. In the near future I am looking to go back to AU. Any other people on here using Vodafone find the same problems? ( Bad reception/service)
  9. I get the feeling there are a lot of narrow minded rednecks out there. Bush commented plenty about the Australian election! Forcing democracy on other countries, People in glass houses...
  10. How could you not want to join after seeing this. I'm going to sign up right now! Or maybe not. In the navy! courtesy of JDA.
  11. Yeh the diskman looking thing. I can't remember the brand/name..sorry, but it did work. Surprised me!
  12. I wouldn't worry to much, I have had both my ears pierced and still do. I never take them out (I forget they are there most of the time) I used to have my nose pierced before it became "popular". Soon took it out though! Muffin tops Ha haven't heard that term for a while!
  13. You could try a CD/DVD repair kit. Haven't seen them here but I am sure you could probably buy them from an electrical store. A friend had one worked a treat!!
  14. If I didn't shovel it all the time maybe 2-3 metres (?). I have a mate who lives about 20mins away in the mountains, some times he can't get home. Has to wait for the snow plough to clear the road. Nice spot though!!
  15. Bit of touchy feely fun. I can't tell the difference between a woman & a lamp apparently. Touch me!
  16. It's called a Lava lamp. Not sure where to get them though.
  17. Waiting for coffee & your CD to burn. Seems like a lot of waiting. Sh*tty coffee anyways
  18. I believe it is a myth. Niseko (Hokkaido) is high marketed (publisized) in Aust. Niseko brochures every where, holiday package tours etc. Niseko is good plenty of snow, plenty of Aussies. (Including myself). Hokkaido like the rest of Japan have great places to ski/board. Just ask the other guys here they will tell you. Take a look around. There is more here than Niseko.
  19. Another beautiful day starting up here in the north!

  23. I always see apartment blocks with crazy/funny names. I used to live in one called Jaguar & another Tetsuichibankan. But today I saw a recently built apartment block- the name was Ritz carlton. I don't think it lives up to it's name though, looks like pretty standard fair. Any one else seen some interesting aparto names?
