echineko 1
I mean the meat Spam? I had some once and it was quite good I think, a bit salty. Is there meaning in the name? And why is junk email called spam?
damian 0
My nickname (long form) used to be: "Bam-Bam can-of-Spam give-a-damn". Sometimes it was shortened to "Can of Spam".
oblivion 5
I haven't had it in ages, but I used to love it. Spam with some mustard on a fresh roll. Tops.
kintaro 0
Spam musubi!! Nothing, and I mean nothing beats a spam musubi after a day of surfing! In Hawaii thats what we eat.

bobby12 0
It was spam's (email spam's) birthday yesterday. Email spam is named after the monty python sketch 'spam' (where a salesman tries to sell people spam all the time even though they dont want it). I used to like spam fritters (spam tenpura) in school. Mmm....fattening...
mikazooki 0
spam is short for spiced ham...its popular in guam.

enderzero 0
I had no idea there were so many spam lovers outside of Guam! I always thought meat out of a can was too digusting to even try. It's kind of a joke at home.
grungy-gonads 54
I like it too - great in a roll with some Colmans mustard. Haven't had any in years...
snowboard_freak 0
I tried it once when i was younger. I just couldn't get past the meat in can thing. Didn't like it at all.
cheeseman 1
It's good with cheese.
Goemon 0
I have to agree with Cheeseman. We used to love having fried spam with Kraft Macaroni & Cheese when I was younger. Not too nutritious, but a good bargain meal. Not too sure if I'd order that now, though...
amandanism 0
never tried it. doesnt sound too appertizing either.

kintaro 0
SPAM is a joke in the US...sort of a poor people food, but it's popular and chotto expensive in Hawaii. Go figure!
cal 6
Natsukashii! I used to love Spam. Where can I get it in Japan? Anyone?
DumbStick 13
I can't remember ever having Spam. Does it really exist?
Ocean11 0
I have always had an innate dislike for junk food, and I think this stems partly from my alarm at being fed spam fritters at primary school. That pink rubbery meat-based object whose artificial colouring had been adversely affected by the heat, coated in a dripping brown carapace... they do not look good. I have no problem with meat in a can, and I like a bit of aspic jelly to go with it. But in Japan, spam not seen. Tinned bees children yes, spam no.
