montoya 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 Just some wishful thinking... I just found out there's a 2-hour train from Yuzawa to Toyama via JR Hokuriku Honsen. It looks like another 2-hours by train, cable car and highland bus from JR Toyama Station to Tateyama and then the Marudo Plateau. Or, 3 hours on JR Chuo Honsen Line from Shinjuku to Shinano-omachi Station. Another 2 hours by ropeway and trolley bus from Shinano-omachi Station to Marudo Plateau. Does this look about right? Amazing how things fill in once they get a winters snow on them. I skied the line between 1st and 2nd peaks from the left. It's all rock now Link to post Share on other sites
