Tubby Beaver 209
Seiyu sells some Korean beer....can't remember the name.....it's probably not a top brand
NoFakie 45
Seiyu have come up with the goods and are selling three Shephards Neame ales, 1698, Spitfire, and Whitstable Bay, for 189 yen! For a 500ml bottle. Happoshu prices! Dunno what the deal is with delivery, but its on their website too and isn't down as some special offer price. If it is an offer, I'm buying 100. http://www.the-seiyu.com/front/commodity/00000000/4973450470784/
DumbStick 13
Is that a nice beer? From what I can gather postage is either free or 300 yen as well!
DumbStick 13
Did you order the 100? Looks like they have sold out!
tokabochi 9
Thats odd. When I am logged out, I can see it. When I am logged in, it says it doesn't exist. Doesn't seem to want to send to Tokamachi!
Tubby Beaver 209
In store they still have loads of stock (at the one near mines!)......been selling these brands for quite a while. Not beer, but a local bar has been selling Kirin Hard Cidre.....finally Japan does a cider on tap! Its not bad, probably not for the cider purists, somewhere between Strongbow and Magners
NoFakie 45
I don't go to Seiyu often but they had loads of bottles in store at the one next to Toyoshina Cainz Home. I didn't see the Asda own brand ones that they used to sell for 300 yen. 189 yen is about one pound ten, so very close to the UK price. The reason I wanted to go yesterday was that Seiyu also sells 330ml cans of soda water for 37 yen. Spirits are well cheap in Japan, so you can knock up something nicer than chuhai for the same price. muikabochi 208
We don't have any Seiyu in these parts.
snowdude 44
There is a Seiyu in Fujimi, Nagano which is actually only about a 15 minute drive. I checked it out a few weeks back they have some nice stuff in there.

andy63_5 0
I was in Korea last year and went to one of the most popular craft breweries in Seoul, Craftworks. It was lukewarm at most. My buddy and I agreed that the craft beer industry in SK has a long way to go. Had a long talk with the manager and figured out that SK is really strict on their microbreweries. Big name companies are trying to fight off the little guys. Here in Japan, microbrewery is taking off! If I don't go down to Yokohama, I usually grab a few bottles from my nearby liquor store. They stock a nice selection of imports. <img src="https://www.dropbox.com/s/6y3lnkwsltqyji8/2013-10-07%2016.47.33.jpg"> For some reason, I can't post pictures in SJ. The uploader doesn't work very well either. I always get an error. **edit** When go to mysnowjapan page, I click on upload photo. I enter in the required fields and select a picture from the drop down box. After clicking the Upload Photo button, the computer sits a while, while it's uploading, then comes back with an error in the frame, Page Not Found, Error404. I have tried uploading different photos from different folders from my computer, changed browsers, and changed names on the photos also, but always result in the same error404 message. muikabochi 208
If you are trying to post images with the wrong code, they won't work. I doubt your 'the uploaded doesn't work very well' comment helps SJ-David to help you, if he even sees this. About beer I just buy some when I'm down but usually have some stock in the garage. Come late August it's a few crates of Akiaji!
