muikabochi 208
So, where's on and where's not? Not that I'm going to be going myself. I see Nozawa has postponed opening. And I doubt Kagura will get it going.

thursday 1
don't think they're opening this weekend though.
Go Native 70
Hirafu is definitely opening a couple of lifts this weekend and Hanazono may even try to get something going. Not sure if they'll have skiing out to the base but it's snowing pretty heavily at the moment so it's possible.
deanrobi 2
Should get a few of the resort manager from Aust out there, they would open up on a few cms of base. Buller open this season just gone early on a base of nothing that was gone by about the following weekend.

tripler 0
Any info on Cortina? Sure they won't open officially this weekend but does any lift run there regardless of snow? I'm going there Sunday not to ski but would there be anything skiable, even if it meant walking up the hill?
rider69 18
Cortina doesnt open untill december. There will be almost no lifts running in Hakuba it is maintence season. The lifts open on the 28th whether or not there is snow for the hikers. There is plenty of high mountain snow. If you are keen to ride go to tateyama.
SKI 15
I think I can manage to wait a bit longer.

SKI 15
Every year it seems to be the same with opening dates at places like Kagura, Nozawa. Either a real struggle or just totally not happening. Perhaps Naeba got it right after all by saying 5th Dec.
snowdude 44
No snow here of course but already down to around zero here tonight, and will drop a few below zero! Nice to see some snow up in Hokkaido though, not much longer before it gets to Honshu!
muikabochi 208
So cold there? It's 5 degrees here at the moment. Raining too.
Jynxx 4
No major improvement in regards to snow in Tirol. Maybe the temperature being a bit cooler than before so the snow level (altitude) is lower only a little. Probably toward the 28th it will be better for openings here.
