We had more snow again but I think generally it is feeling very much like spring now here. Even I enjoy spring ski, it is also a time of mixed feeling.
How are the monsters holding up ILoveZao?
Yep interesting shots ILZ.
Made me want to check that place our someday.
Love your photos ILoveZao.
I went to Zao a few years back. It was in peak season and the juhyo were in good condition and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's not many other resorts worth bothering about in that area though (it seems). But I could happily spend 4 days or so there. If only I had the time to!
There are less chance for good photo of late. I feel we had much more rain than normal this season which is sad and it is definitely now SPRING!
I will find some to put up soon.
Here is monster now, he doesn't look as scary
For contrast, this was same period last season in March 2008
What do those trees look like when there's no snow ILoveZao?
Yep, just a tree.
Like many place, we had some new snow and more winter condition.
Love the pics. That top one is the top of the ropeway building at the top right?
Sure looks like it
Yes it is. Wonderful shot there.
I love the photo! I went about 5 times to Zao and it is one of my favorite place. In summer also it is good place for visiting.
It was so warm yesterday!
It did not do much good for the skiing!
Take a look
Yikes that first one looks crusty!
Wow that does look hard!
Freshly smoothed cement?
Pretty grim conditions of late.
Spring, got to forgive.
Ah I remember Zao.
A really poor season all round it seems (with perhaps some northern exceptions).
Here's to next season!
How long does the season last in Zao? Will it be open until Golden Week?
