SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 178 Posted January 9, 2009 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 9, 2009 Isn't that what the Yuzawa Now report is, Rob?
RobBright 35
I meant for the telephone box
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 178 Posted January 9, 2009 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 9, 2009 Ah, ok understood. My apologies. We'll do what we can, though not too sure who will be in Yuzawa over the weekend.
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 178 Posted January 11, 2009 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 11, 2009 Here we are, today at about 3pm
sanjo 2
Just to compare with that here is how it looked January 20th 2006
PWL 0
That is just insane!!!!!!
RobBright 35
That's the legendary pic PWL - and I was there
Amos in Utsunomia 0
Wow. There's still a week to catch up!
modern_messiah 0
As long as there is enough snow to Ski/Snowbaord (and enjoy it of course) I couldn't care how under the booth gets!!! Though I'm sure it will pick up...
1 4
Right -- but, if there's not much it means it'll all melt quicker at the end of the season.
RobBright 35
Mattaus - that's is blasphemous! The telephone booth is the indicator of the season - if it has lots of snow, we all have a nice happy, snowy white time, unless you get stuck and need a telephone. If there isn't any snow, then we don't go.
modern_messiah 0
lol...it's enough snow for people who have never been before lol (like me). What that book the secret say? Positive thoughts give positive results or something. Think good thoughts instead of focusing on the negative! That's how I'm looking at it anyway.
RobBright 35
Or just look at the weather reports. Perhaps we should start an album up for this booth - you know, if people go past it, they should get their photo taken next to it, if Gouda can do it, then so should we. 1 4
Not being negative at all. Why does "saying something that is true" always be flagged negative by some people when it's just not something they want to hear. Hopefully it will soon be buried in snow!
sanjo 2
We're wishing it on. Apparently it is snowing there now
Go Native 70
And if you believe in that crap in 'The Secret' then you need help
modern_messiah 0
LOL. I don't believe in it, in fact I've never even read The Secret! I'm just trying to get the topic to become a little more positive...kinda depressing reading it. Meh. Guess I'll just stop popping in then.
joshnii 2
Depressing. But true. What do you want, people to lie?
yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
I'd say in general 'positive' things are said when 'positive' things are happening. It kinda grates when people go overboard positive when it's just not what's happening. Same for gloom and doom of course, but I don't see that here. Lets snowing 1 meter of new snow overnight!! ( How's that for positive? )
modern_messiah 0
lol. I have to say I don't mean tel lies. Sure, tell the truth - nothing wrong with that. I guess it's just the complaining and gloomy comments that come with it that make it seem worse than it really is. Is the snow THAT bad that you can't go out and have fun?
muikabochi 208
It certainly isn't but I don't actually think anyone has implied that. Anyway, it's snowing now so hopefully we will get lots of snow in the next few days.
yodel 0
Quote: Is the snow THAT bad that you can't go out and have fun? For those planning trips in March and beyond, maybe yes! But I believe that 3 meters of snow will fall in the coming week, so we should be just fine.
