A family who tried to lure back a lost dog by leaving a trail of their urine on streets near their home have been criticised by the city council.

The Baltesz family, of Clifton, Bristol, lost their 10-year-old pet labrador Simon on the night of 4 July.

When Simon failed to return, the family chose their unorthodox method.

A Bristol City Council spokeswoman said: "We would not consider this to be a good idea from an environmental health point of view."

Louise Baltesz, 43, said the whole family had been "chipping in" to help lay down the scent trail.

She said she was aware of criticism aimed at the family, but they were willing to do anything to get Simon back.

Oh dear.

Songstress Christina Aguilera hit her hand while playing the Nintendo Wii. It gets worse. She apparently bruised herself. The horror.

Showbiz Spy brings us this tragic, tragic story: "Christina loves her Wii as a fun way to do a little work out," a source said. "Now she's a mother, it's perfect for her. On this one occasion she and Joel were in the middle of a particularly heated game of tennis and Christina came off a little worse for wear in a run-in with a table lamp. She has a bruised hand but is more upset that she lost the game!"

Here's a bit story from the mail today:

Back in 1977 he was effortlessly strutting his stuff on the dancefloor.

But John Travolta might find it a little harder these days to replicate the disco moves he made famous in the film Saturday Night Fever. And there's certainly no chance of him fitting into that famous white suit.

The 55-year-old actor looked almost unrecognisable during a rare outing in Miami this week.

Sporting a black baseball cap, handlebar moustache and a baggy black shirt, the once-athletic Grease star looked decidedly portly.

So, now you know.

What must it be like having people taking pics of you everywhere and anywhere. Would hate it.

That Travolta story is much more important. After all, it's our right to know that he's getting podgy. Didn't he recently lose his son? I wish people including myself would not read that offensive shite, and the Mail would go out of business. Unfortunately as "offended" as many people are on reading it, they still do.

"Photographically Stalking"

that's what it really is. In the name of journalism. Is there any thing as a right to know?

It sounds like the "instantly gratified culture" of today

yeah, they are shite papers and it's part of what we call culture.

wish they will leave him alone.

Phwoar

A binge drinker, aged 14, has been given an Asbo banning her from drinking alcohol in public.

Schoolgirl Catherine Emery has been arrested more than 20 times for drunken behaviour, which saw her drink up to 12 cans of lager such as Carling and Stella Artois each night.

Catherine was the leader of a girl gang who teamed up with friends for drinking sessions most nights, meeting in supermarket car parks to drink cans of lager.

Posing with some beer:

In one week she drank 143 units or 80 drinks - 10 times the recommended limit for an adult female - and led to her causing chaos in her hometown of Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

^ lol ^

Back on topic:

That is just OUT OF CONTROL.

She seems quite proud of herself sitting there on the messy stairs boasting about her ability to drink until she reeks 'choas' on the community.

I'd be ashamed.
