joshnii 2
The Police? I used to love them, seeing them live was a dream for me back when Synchronicity was a soundtrack for my life.
IIIII 2
THE POLICE WILL REUNITE TO OPEN THE GRAMMY’S Apparently.
joshnii 2
No. They are all still alive, hence ability to reunite I wonder if they still totally hate each other?
big-will 7
I hope I can get to see The Police if they tour, that would be really goodo
Thunderbird2 0
Really looking forward to seeing that. It will either be brilliant to see them play some old songs... or not. (Obviously!) They would make a fortune if they toured. I wonder if that might have anything to do with it..
brit-gob 9
In other excellent news, rumor has it that George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley might be getting togetehr for a new Wham! album. One can only hope that Shirley and Pepsi are with them. It wouldn't be Wham without those lovely ladies.
Karnidge 2
Excellent. I'll be queueing up for a ticket if that happens. (About the Police, not Wham)
Thunderbird2 0
The Police did open the Grammys and played Roxanne. Nothing special, a bit dreary actually. I was hoping for something more interesting.
1 4
Police have announced a world tour starting in NA and including Europe and Japan.
griller 9
What a surprise. I taped the Grammys to see that police performance.... nearly fell asleep.
thursday 1
I didn't want to waste electricity recording the grammies, I just plain fell asleep.
BagOfCrisps 24
I always like to watch the Grammies just to be able to complain at how utterly shite they are. Why is none of the music I like on there? In fact, why do I hate almost everything on there. Police were totally unremarkable. I was hoping for a more genki Synchronicity or something. yoroshiku onegai shimasu 2
What did they do to the middle of the song?!? Rubbish. And have you SEEN the prices of the tickets for the tour? Worth putting aside a few personal differences, for sure.
thursday 1
word from the Roger Waters gig on the 15th was that iot was well worth the money. Dark side of the moon done very well, together with the flying astronaut and pig.
thursday 1
Tears for Fears May 10. Hong Kong.
veronica 2
Will you be going to see TFF?
Tubby Beaver 209
AC/DC are playing the Saitama Arena pretty soon
2pints-mate 0
TFF tour is just a few dates in Asia (not Japan) and Oz it seems. Strange. Are they planning on making anything new or is this just a 'to pay the bills' tour?
thursday 1
They have a small venue in HK. Standing costs twice as much as sitting. I can't stand for 2 hours. May need to look at the seats.
thursday 1
Deep Purple also coming. The mark VIII lineup.
pie-eater 207
I don't sitting at a concert. Standing is way better.
thursday 1
standing is for those who surge to the front of the stage to get a groupie feel of the band or person in front. Not my thing ever.
scouser 4
I went to loads of concerts when I was at uni, mostly in the student union hall or local theatre. Almost always standing and getting really into it, sometimes it got pretty rough down there. Nothing beats it!
Tubby Beaver 209
I agree Scouser. In Japan its pretty mellow down the front in comparison so I like to get down there and crank it up, the locals really love it... they just need someone to start it....I often end up picking Japanese people up and and throwing them into the air for a crowd surf...great fun!!
