GYOZA!

So like a home-made version then.   Sounds good to me.

I was avoiding ramen over summer, just too hot, but got back into it the last few weeks. Miso negi. Can't beat it.

Same company, different balance/level of ingredients.

Australians are weird you see BoC.

Take marmite for example. Awesome in the first place, and they pretty much replace it with crap and labelled it vegemite. wink

Its because of the legal definitions of what constitutes "Milk" Chocolate in each country. I can't remember exactly what it is, whether its that the UK one has too much or too little actual milk products/solids to be labelled milk chocolate by international standards, but its definitely to do with the level of actual milk products used to make the chocolate

Sorry Cold Weather Dudes,

It has more to do with what stuff is going to melt here in transit from the lightly refrigerated truck to the air conditioned shopping center. You see in Aus it is hot - a lot of the time. Swiss Chocolate doesn't last all that long if not kept nice and cool because it has a pretty low melting point. Cadbury have simply made the chocolate bars here have a slightly higher melting point so that the local deli can sell them to Freddy from down the street who can get it home on the back of his bike for the family to enjoy without it dripping out the side of the packet.

biggrin

Yes.

Yes it is.

You can still buy low melt chocolate here - Lindt, John Walker Chocolatier, Chokeby Road...so many others. But it is more expensive and ...well...it melts quick if you are not careful - so it is not as shelf stable as the chocolate of the masses Cadbury.

Don't matter whats on the packet, it's what it tastes like that counts.

Interesting that Mamabear. Would still think it would be a different "brand" if it is a different product though.

Same here - but then if it contains the same ingredients but in different quantities, surely it's still the same brand though?
