So like a home-made version then.   Sounds good to me.

I was avoiding ramen over summer, just too hot, but got back into it the last few weeks. Miso negi. Can't beat it.

went to one of my favourite Yakitori/Kushiyaki places tonight and had fanatstic Tomato-maki, Buta Bara, Aspara-maki, Negima, Aspara-age...mmmmmmm I love that place

Tomato maki- Cherry tomatoes wrapped in bacon/thin slice pork and BBQ'd

 

Aspara maki- Asparagus Tips wrapped in bacon/thinly sliced pork and BBQ'd

 

Buta Bara- Fatty pork in a sweet sauce BBQ'd

 

Negima- Chunks of Chicken thigh alternated with leek in a sweet sauce and BBQ'd

 

then there was also a whole Asparagus finger (?) wrapped in pork, then breaded and deep fried yummy

Don't forget shiso maki. Shiso leaves wrapped in pork yummy
