pie-eater 207
I want to know how you got your pastie.
Metabo Oyaji 71
My apologies, pie-eater. I feel like such a blobfish. If you must know, it required going all the way to the UK to get those pasties. No way to get them here that I know of. Nearest equivalent I can think of would be the empanadas at Abukuma Kogen Service Area. (Which are mighty yummy, actually... may need to start planning a road trip now that I think about it). pie-eater 207
It did look distinctly non-Japanese. Did you go all the way to Cornwall just for the pasties?
Metabo Oyaji 71
Didn't have to -- while the pasties themselves are apparently made in West Cornwall, they are then shipped out to their chain of stores around the country. Someone just needs to convince them to open a store in Japan, I reckon.
634-maru 4
I'd buy.

I like it thick with a strong taste. Some friend potatoes in there too. Good the next day.

muikabochi 208
Wad there any taste to it other than heat?
Metabo Oyaji 71
Wad there any taste to it other than heat? Not much, to be honest. But actually being hot enough to generate a bit of sweat is a pretty good achievement for instant ramen. I'll take it.
brit-gob 9
Definitely a good point. I went to an Indian here once and had what they called 'very hot'. Er, no.

But actually being hot enough to generate a bit of sweat is a pretty good achievement for instant ramen. I'll take it. I'd prefer it be cooler before I need food to generate any further sweat!! (I'm in Tokyo at the moment).
