So like a home-made version then.   Sounds good to me.

I was avoiding ramen over summer, just too hot, but got back into it the last few weeks. Miso negi. Can't beat it.

My apologies, pie-eater. :unsure2: I feel like such a blobfish.

 

If you must know, it required going all the way to the UK to get those pasties. No way to get them here that I know of. Nearest equivalent I can think of would be the empanadas at Abukuma Kogen Service Area. (Which are mighty yummy, actually... may need to start planning a road trip now that I think about it).

Onto new things.

 

I have been perfecting my sweet and sour chicken. (Like chicken more than pork). Getting pretty good at it too. I like it thick with a strong taste. Some friend potatoes in there too. Good the next day.

Wad there any taste to it other than heat?

 

Not much, to be honest. But actually being hot enough to generate a bit of sweat is a pretty good achievement for instant ramen.

I'll take it.

 

I'd prefer it be cooler before I need food to generate any further sweat!!

 

(I'm in Tokyo at the moment).
