klingon 10
Does it feel crazy-screw-your-eyes-up fast? How about the soundtrack? As good as the other wipeouts? Yes. Yes. Kraftwerk, even. Star Strike is a great shooter as well. 2 fine games.
klingon 10
But Wipeout needs an online pass - so going to wait for the UK version. Crappy online pass system. Must say I'm not into the online thing myself either but what is this all about? Does it mean you can only play online with dudes in your region or something?
RobBright 35
If you want to play online, then you need to have an online pass. At the moment, they are locked to one psn ID, and region specific, ie must use a JPN code on the JPN store. On the ps3, if you use the code on one account, the game can be played online on any account. Confusing stuff.
Thunderbird2 0
They really don't make stuff like this easy to understand do they. I'm still not grasping the concept there.
klingon 10
Hmm but even if you sign up with Japanese code, you can play anyone in the world, right?
RobBright 35
Yep that's right.
klingon 10
So what's the downer then, Man? Sorry, mind perhaps not functioning to full capacity this morning!
klingon 10
I'm just outraged that I didn't win Mt 6 tickets
RobBright 35
So what's the downer then, Man? Sorry, mind perhaps not functioning to full capacity this morning! I use a UK Psn ID on my ps vita, so am unable to use the Jpn store to redeem the code. As such, I can't play online.
klingon 10
Ahhhh, I see. Bloody annoying all this isn't it.
RobBright 35
It is - but loving it still, especially Minna no golf 6. Bloody addictive game that.
grungy-gonads 54
Thats kind of one game I wish was in English and would prefer the E version

grungy-gonads 54
I don't need 2 copies!!
grungy-gonads 54
Funny how that is totally J-go and others are bilingual. Like Wipeout which is totally English. While I can actually read the Japanese, it would just be nicer to have things in English.
RobBright 35
I don't need 2 copies!! Sell the JP one then and buy the Eng one.
grungy-gonads 54
Nah that sounds like too much of a hassle to me that. I'll cope.
klingon 10
Can't get into that. Now the tennis is different that is very cool game.
klingon 10
GRAVITY DAZE out in a few days. Looks kind of interesting but I think I'll wait for reviews.
@tokyo 14
I had a go on the demo for that and wasn't too keen. Though that was a while back so the retail version may be different.
klingon 10
Initial reviews seem quite positive. Wary of laying down 5000 yen for it though. I'll wait. Still got tons of things to get through.
snowbender 3
Got one. Just updated the software too. But now the PS blue button light is on all the time. Anyone know why that is? Can't seem to find a good answer on t'intatubs.
RobBright 35
Its to show that the ps vita is on.
snowbender 3
That is a change isn't it? I'm sure it wasn't doing that before the update. Explains it though! Thanks
RobBright 35
Yep. Before, when you left it on standby, there was no light.
