Yama, All we get here is NHK. Don't really miss the rest. Takes a while to catch up when I'm in the big smoke. Bit too much idol worship here. I once was the home room teacher of one of the "after school" tarento. What a pain in the ass. Kids lining up at the windows during breaks etc. And she was off school half the time with modelling or filming. Everyone treated her lime a prima donna and she got around all the rules. Pissed me off big time.

These guys do flog the same line over and over again. How about those "Nande Darou" boys? [censored]!!!! Tunnels are good for a laugh at times. Veggieman: The guys that drive me nuts are the one's who think pulling a face is funny. (Oh, and the guy who's only gag is to say his name "Micheal"). Shamed to admit it by I actually quite like the "Hard Gay" or whatever his name is guy. Something a little different from the monotonouse duos.

I find shoes are really cheap at the discount shoe shops. Always seem to have half price sales on. Brand names incl. Got a good pair of Nike Hiking shoes the other day for 3,000yen. The home center type shops are also pretty cheap. Picked up a good rake (damn you autumn leaves) for 198yen today. Fruit and Veges can be cheap if you buy directly. Picked 6kg of apples least week for 2,000yen. (Maybe that's not so cheap but it seemed a good deal at the time)

Holidays for 2006 are Jan 9, Feb 11 (Sat), Mar 21. No 3 day weekends except Jan 7-9.
