  1. I'm new here but I heard that almost as soon as the snow season starts big discounts start popping up - is that right? I've brought some gear with me but would love to get some new stuff asap. Just don't want to buy and then see 20% the next day.
  2. Made it to Japan just in time for the winter
  3. How to do my gurn is a secret, I would want no-one to be able to copy it.
  4. Some of them are really boring, I'm sure there's some far more exciting ones than that.
  5. I used to have a Milli Vanilli one. It was present from a girlfriend, was a "my tune". Honest!
  6. A strong pickle is always good for a gurn.
  7. That must have been great kamoshika. When the race is on, do you actually know much about what is happening - ie are there screens showing action in other parts of the track or score boards, commentary etc? Or is it just a case of watching and keeping track of whats going on yourself? PS How much it cost?
  8. Then there Ozzies are truly bonkers hey? Unless they can gurn of course. Seriously, some people have way too much time and money.
  9. Niseko takes the longer to get to, so if you only have 5 days....
  10. Why did they cancel the thing? It is just so funny. From what I can gather they kept on messing up with the scheduling and either putting it on really late, different times or having long periods with nothing and then putting some episodes on. Its as if 30th Century Fox had something against it or something...
  11. I'd bring it up - as it obviously bothers you to some extent and therefore probably affects your work, and needs to be brought out into the open. Just be careful how you bring it up!
  12. Can anyone here gurn well? I bet I'm the best gurner in Japan!
  13. Oh so many, but at the top of my list there's some famous places - Niseko, Furano (hopefully a week up there in Hokkaido), Nozawa and Myoko/Arai.
  14. OK I've been skiing for quite a while and tried snowboarding last season for the first time and loved it.
