I think there is so much waste of electricity and water going on around me. The OL in our office has just been washing about 5 small towels in the sink and no kidding the water has been on full blast for what must be over 5 minutes. Washing some dishes becomes a 10 gallon experience too. I've noticed it around me quite a lot actually and it really annoys me. Lights left on everywhere, them being switched on when they are seriously not needed.

OK I have 5 days off during late January. Wondering where to spend it. Here's what I want: - lots of choice of runs (resorts?); - good snow; - lively place in the evenings; - not too much travel hassle; - not too busy; - not too expensive. I've narrowed it down to either the Hakuba area or Niseko. If you were me, and taking into account the above, which would you choose.

Skiing for 3 years (not continuously of course!)
