  1. That might actually be a Good thing in terms of potential visitors not getting bombarded with the gloomier stuff we are getting day in day out.

  3. He wasn't in a good state his last years apparently. We still have his great show to enjoy.
  4. I tend to create new folders and shover stuff into there. It's like a Russian Doll thing, folders within folders full of unorganised stuff. Very stop gap.
  5. I would like one that covers all of the resort in Hakuba and Otari. Please. Or, even better, one that covers all the resorts in Nagano, Niigata and Gunma. About 50,000 yen please.

  8. I managed 4km last night without stopping. Slowly and out of breath. It's a starting point I suppose.
  9. I got rid of a few old computers that I was hording for some unknown reason. Anyway, I took them to a local place that gets rid and recycles and they weighed them. I paid by weight rather than a set cost for each. I think I paid about 4000 yen.
  10. They're saying now that No1 started going into meltdown 4 hours after the tsunami on March 11th.
  11. With all those tsunamis off Fukushima, it's a good bet they won't be running.
  12. Mission Impossible 4 will be out this summer I think. Watching some of the old tv series at the moment.
  13. I see the "new Beetle" has been unvelieved. Ah, the Beetle. Used to have one and loved it. Many memories there. And the modern ones are looking quite good too, if perhaps losing a bit of their Beetle-ness.

  15. I just wanted to post a thread on how touched I am and how admirable I find the Japanese spirit (for want of a better word) when faced with something like this.
