A few of my colleagues got something like you mention Pete. One of them came into work in a semi-panic wondering what on earth she had done wrong (I didn't suggest watching porn, klingon, didn't think she'd appreciate it). The relief on her face when she found out it was a scam!

Pasties. It's been a while since I've had a good one of them. The best one ever was in a small shop in the back roads of Falmouth. Incredible it was I'll never forget it. Last night I had some amazing tonkatsu with a really good spicy sauce. Cho-yummy it was indeed.

A week is too long for me as well. Perfect would be about 4-5 days, all with snow falling night time and a fresh 20-30cm waiting for the first lift.

My friend applied for the permenant. He had been here I think 12 years, married to a Japanese, stable job, no crimes or anything. If I remember correctly it took half a year for him to get it.
