Are half-pipes and quarter-pipes less popular than they used to be? There don't seem to be as many these days, or perhaps it is just where I'm going.

I'm interested to know of problems or strange things people have experienced on going back to their home country after being in Japan for a long time. I remember last summer having an argument with my dad and he came back at me saying I had "become Japanese". He didn't realise how silly it sounded, but when I thought about it I have changed and when I am back 'home' I probably do act differently and in "Japan mode". Anyone any funny or interesting experiences?

GF and I tried this last week at Naeba. Some people just don't respect other peoples privacy. And it was cold. So we gave up and decided to wait until later on.

Is this being blown out of all proportion or are there really lots of problems? If I remember correctly, there are things like this going on in a very small % of most new consoles on the market. No excuse of course.
