I don't remember mentioning anything about a booklet. Packaging yes. Anyway, fukdane I don't have it at the moment. Been toying with the idea of getting as I get it for cost price. If i do it probably wont be for a while. I'd be interested to hear what the special features are like.

Different artwork and box set layout than the ones we got here. The ones here are a book like thing like you mention which is pretty tidy but also pretty flimsy and fragile. The clear "pages" of the box set seem to have a tendancy to fall off. I like the artwork on the one you have better. Much nicer.

I'm going to grow a beard again this year for Niseko. It was a nice addition last time. I also have a neck warmer fleecey thing that I use when it's really cold and windy that I pull up over my mouth if needs be. That is usually only on the lift though. The new pants I am getting have ventilation zippers and I'm looking forward to that. I also wear thermals sometimes. On top usually just thermals a t-shirt and a jacket does the job. Maybe an extra layer somewhere if I feel the need.

Mittens all the way. You can't really use your fingers all that well in gloves anyway cause they are so fat and puffy. I never find myself in a position wishing that I was wearing gloves because of things that I need to do with my fingers. If i need to i just take off my mitt do what I need to and bung the mitt back on. That doesn't happen much though.

BMX Bandits is a quality quality flick. Part of it was actually shot in a park a stones throw from home.

I quite enjoyed Phone Booth. Certainly not the wrost movie I have ever seen! Not by a long shot. Colin Farrell (sp?) is a good actor.

The Others is great movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it, more so than the Sixth Sense. I don't rate Kidman as a looker though.

By the looks and sounds of it (from the Now report) a bit of pre-frontal rain has set in, but that'll clear before too long me thinks then it's all snow snow SNOW!!!! EDIT - just looked at the webcams and it's looks as though they have opened up a lift. More snow too! Yay!!

I think it is bloody stupid to do that crap. I know of guy (not a friend mind you)who was big into heroin and now he is dead because of it. Such a waste of life.

Hate certainly is a strong word. I think I hate more "other things" than people. There are only a select few people that I really hate. But there are more things in the world that I hate. Hate is a worthwhile emotion. There is a quote floating around somewhere that is something like "the more you hate the more you can love". or something to that effect. The basic ideal is that you have to be able to experience hate to be able to feel the true passion of love. Both extremes.

I've never really gotten into the whole commentary side of things. I have watched a couple. The Futurama ones I watched on adivce from some of the people on this forum and really enjoyed them. The ones on Donnie Darko are good as well.

I think it's about 1metre of snow before they open up the top lifts but whether or not that ensures no damage to equipment I don't know.

O11 - i was looking at some of the maps for the next couple of days (not the little snowmen pictures that so many seem to put faith in) and of course the webcam as Markie has just posted. It's obviously snowing there and that can only be a good thing.

Nice little story there barok. It's always good to hear about other people at the snow when you aren't there yourself. As for a light board - Palmer's are pretty light boards. I've got a Gap that I use when I attempt some park stuff. But they are thinnner than normal boards so they get chattery a bit more easily.

Don't worry fella's the dump has begun now. Should be a pretty nice fall over the next couple of days.

Actually db I haven't any tanks for about the last year or so. So I can bore you with stuff about the tanks I had . HotRod - I have kept both fresh and saltwater fish and inverts. A big ol' reef tanks looks awesome and I find pretty interesting. But they do require a fair of taking of taking care off when compared to goldfish and tropical freshwater fish. Inverts are harder to take care off. Both are very relaxing. Most of the fish i had swam heaps but some didn't as this was just their nature. Did you enjoy that db?
