scouser 4
Read this morning that the UK is going to get some capsules. http://travel.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,7445,1303075,00.html I've stayed in one just the one time. It wasn't really big enough for me, but I was pissed so I could sleep. Curious things.
ProbablyaCrazyPerson 2
They could do with a few of them in popular ski places.
Yuki's Passion 1
Just as long as the bloke next to me doesnt continue pulling off or watching porn all night long... I like staying at em. Cheap and usually good locations after a long night of partying
grungy-gonads 54
I stayed once for the laughs and just to say I had. I didn't enjoy the smell and the, ahem, noises coming from other capsules. But I can say I stayed there now.
Octavio Estrada 0
I've stayed in capsules quite a few times, and they have been ok each time. The trick is to be drunk, that'll get you to sleep no problems. Nice and cheap.

JellyBelly 1
How much do they charge? I've only ever seen one on tv.
frannyo 2
If they are really cheap (surely?), then they should have some near the slopes.
grungy-gonads 54
Cost? Depends on the "facilities". From a couple of thou.
Goemon 0
In Tokyo, I only know about this one in Shibuya .
slow 0
My coworker told me capsule hotels in Nagoya were great. Much better than Tokyo.
klingon 10
I wonder what the difference is? They're just boxes, right?
dale#1 1
I sometimes stay at them, but I need to be drunk to be able to stay in one of them places - definitely the secret to staying there.
HeatherLocklearRocks 1
I stayed in one once, just for the experience. Bit of an anticlimax. Rabuho is much better for a better climax.
veronica 2
I wonder if there are any lady capsule hotels?
fukdane 2
I think the above says that there are some, but not many - mostly for men. http://homepage1.nifty.com/k-fukawa/capuseru/kapuserutop.htm
rach 1
I don't think I'd want to stay in one of those things. Yuck, no thanks.
HeatherLocklearRocks 1
I stayed in one on Saturday night, well Sunday morning (for about 6 hours). I was drunk and didnt have a problem with getting to sleep - I'm sure the huge quantities of beer had something to do with that. A bit smelly in the morning though.
Yuki's Passion 1
From Kagoshima to Hokkaido average price for a hotel is about 3000yen. If youre a member you can get it for about 2200-2500. Some of the newer capsule hotels are really nice, ac/heat controllers, nice sento baths, and separate smoking rooms. Many places also have separate floors/elevators for women as well. Nicest capsule hotels have been in Fukuoka and Sapporo.
happyhappy 0
You are regular in these places YP? Seems like it. I wonder why there are none in ski resort areas.

xxx 2
I agree. Maybe. I wonder if people would want to trek up to the mountains with all their gear, and stay in a capsule. Don't think so.
veronica 2
I certainly wouldn't be staying in something like at a ski resort. No way, that does not sound anything like fun to me.
Yuki's Passion 1
happy 2xs, Regular? Hmmm, dunno about that but I do enjoy traveling all over Japan. Id prefer to sleep at a love hotel but I dont always get that option Some capsule hotels are really nice and have great sentos!!! Awesome after bar/club hopping all night.
