pie-eater 207
Star Trek, yes want to see that. Did you catch T4 thursday?
HelperElfMissy 42
Watched Wolverine again last night ...aaaaaahhhhhhhh.... Ohhh yeah...also watched The Reader. Bit of sex going on in THAT movie. I enjoyed it. Was trying to get into the guys head about WHY he had struggled all through his life with guilt...was it guilt from having had an affair with a Nazi guard? Or was it guilt at having allowed her to rot in jail when he knew she was not the mastermind behind the attrocities? Interesting flic.
big-will 7
You just like the porn bits, don't you Mamabear? Wolverine. Is the movie good apart from the Man Porn?
HelperElfMissy 42
Yeah yeah - I have never hidden my love of Hugh Jackman style man-porn... but on the topic of the story/cinematography etc.... I enjoyed the wolverine movie. There were a lot of ah-ha moments as the back story of the wolverine character was developed. If you get a chance to see a knock off DVD as well as the genuine article DO SO! The knock off is of course still a pre-release unfinished copy and it is really interesting to see where the movie started and then where it was when it was ready for the screen. So much so I think I shall go to the cinema AGAIN to see it as a result of seeing how it was before the polish was on and the support ropes and wires were editted out. I also LOVE seeing all the interesting mutants and thier special abilities - WHO spends hours thinking up this stuff!!! LOVE it! I think it is worth the price of movie ticket or two (or perhaps like me - you can go and see it in STYLE!)
muikabochi 208
You're obsessed! (But we all need to be with something!)
happyhappy 0
Wolverine was pretty good. I watched Terminator 3 last night. It got lots of stick but it was entertaining and quite funny in parts, with a bit of cheese. Looking forward to seeing T4.
muikabochi 208
Bit too much cheese in that extended chase-movie T3. I watched it too, was on one of the satellite channels.

We had to leave the cinema half way through as we took the kids to see it and they were crying! Oh yes, we won the parenting award that week It is an awesome movie. I really enjoy disaster movies - they can be corny, but the whole cataclysmic end of the world plot appeals to me for some reason. Twister was one of my faves (have a thing for tornado's - I reckon I would storm chase if I lived in the US). I do like the way most of those movies have a triumphant ending, where although the majority of the world has gone there are some survivors and the human race lives on. Good stories. thursday 1
Last night, went to see Terminator Salvation. If you've not seen it yet and want to, stop reading Click to reveal.. really disappointed at the lack of surprise. No twists or turns, no new gadgets, technologies. Just totally underwhelmed. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this was definitely the worst of the 4. Disappointed
