muikabochi 208
Kyushu? A bit far that. I would like to try some places further afield. The problem with living in an area that has lots of resorts is that it is difficult to get much motivation to travel far to go to other places.
I'm Sexy 0
I will try Kyushu this winter. My friend has been located there and so I will get chance if I go visit.

muikabochi 208
Quite often a bit more than that, especially in winter. Nagano can be a real bottleneck
Yuki's Passion 1
it only took that long after the fire festival at Noz when we headed back to FTs place. Guess it depends when youre driving. Good point.
Thunderbird2 0
I've done it 3 times. It took me over 3 hours once. I'd say the average time it takes would be around 2 hours. 1.5 sounds like the fastest possible time with no snowfall, no ice, no holdups and an empty Nagano.
Kumapix 0
looking forward to hitting up Snow valley TOga here in Toyama. It is powder heaven. Last year a sponsored rider from Hokkaido spent the winter there as a digger...so that tells you something!

veronica 2
I wanted to go to Arai, but it looks like I might not be able to. This time I want to try and visit some places more to the north - Yamagata, Fukushima maybe. Trying to get a full week off for a bit of an adventure.
bonanza brian 0
For me, anywhere in Japan because I haven't skiied here yet (wont be waiting too long though). and then the typical ones in SA and Europe. Also some of the smaller club fields in NZ on a powder day. I'm curious why noone is saying Colorado?? Cmon people, Aspen Highlands has some of the steepest inbounds terrain in the world and Steamboat and Telluride are gnarly as well. Not to mention all the summit county places
