NoFakie 45
Sounds good! You had me till you mentioned the price The Spitfire etc. at Seiyu is now 2 for 360 yen, so its come down in price. Up yours Shinzo!
Tubby Beaver 209
My Seiyu doesn't sell those beers anymore. Yeah the price is a tad steeper than I usually would buy for beer for the house but I really like the sound of it.....I'm a sucker for hype!
634-maru 4
Not one to compromise on his beers is Tubby I reckon.
Hokkaidough 4
I like trying the limited editions. And the not so limited Hokkaido-only ones too.

NoFakie 45
I got given a couple of Asahi Extra last week, a strong and kind of complex lager heading into ale territory. I'm not a fan of Asahi, but it was pretty good!
1 4
Sounds interesting that. Not 'Carlsberg Special Brew' strong I presume!
Tubby Beaver 209
I think it's maybe 6%.....not exactly sure tho. It's funny how in the UK we consider those "super" beers to be the swill of hobos n alkies but in Europe they're often sold at swanky pubs!! I saw Tennants Super on draft at more than a few nice bars in Milan
pie-eater 207
It is pretty goddam awful though isn't it 'Special Brew'. That didn't stop me from using it as the Quick Road To Pissland when I was a student sometimes. I preferred vodka for that though.
Tubby Beaver 209
I don't think I've ever had Special Brew! When we were teenagers and drinking round the park, I got my mate some Tennants super for his first carry out.....he was blootered after 3 tins!!
big-will 7
Buy some in summer when you are back. Got to try it once!

oblivion 5
Have some lemonade on hand. Once you have gulped one gulp you can then dilute it for a nice shandy.
