Ctrl-Z 0
I have Windows XP on one machine and Vista Home on another. Didn't create a poll because I am sure I would have left something off. If anyone can do a proper all inclusive poll, please do!
orinoco 0
Vista on notebook and desktop.
JA2340 16
XP on all 6 machines I use regularly. Win98 on the machine that runs +1's embroidery machine. As a poll, the "other" option catches all the wierdos who use mainframe manufacturer specific OSs.
thursday 1
I know a few who use Linux. The mainframe terminals are dumb, they are text based only.
grungy-gonads 54
Retro! Is it black screen with green text?
cal 6
My local bank has some of them! I have Vista on mine.
thursday 1
You may or maynot be surprised that a lot of banks still use mainframes. The bread and butter applications.
griller 9
Quote: The bread and butter applications. Don't you need graphics for watching porn though
JA2340 16
Yeah, and I'd be very wary of any bank that allowed (or even had) any of their employees to watch porn at work. They should have a blocking protocol, surely!
kokodoko 67
I have XP pro on the desktop and laptop.. call me old-fashioned.

SantaCruz 0
Millennium? Ouch. As a Microsoftie I gotta say I'm embarrassed by that product (even though it was way before my time here).

BagOfCrisps 24
I would say most people would think it's a pretty good company to work for. My guess is that most people really really really do not care and don't have the inherent dislike of Microsoft that a few seem to have.
big-will 7
I have a really old laptop on Windows 95. I remember the fuss when that was launched in Japan.

Yuki's Passion 1
I bought a mac last month and it was the best investment ever. Macs are such good computers, and much more efficient than Windows. I wont ever buy a Windows computer again. I heart my Mac

Most of those who express a great dislike for Microsoft are those weirdo, elitist Mac users OR wierdo people who learned to use mainframe OS that JUST WORK! and cannot see why the macroshaft juggernaut has such a stranglehold on the desktop. Even Linux has win emulators in an attempt to get more users.
2pints-mate 0
I do not know without looking and do not care. I don't care about Michael Jackson either, nor Paris Hilton. These things are not important to me.
Jynxx 4
I don't really give a toss either ... My first access to computers were those punch cards in a room full of machines and I thought what's the big deal... Then in my 40's I learnt DOS 6, Win 3.1, Unix, Mac, Win 98, Red Hat Linux, Silicon Graphics and you know? I am not proficient in non of them.... I hate computer games. Every time you learn a new program, it's like learning from scratch. The only thing that annoys me is the complexity and the heaviness of the OS and the time it takes to start up. I like Mac because it starts up faster than XP. Less worry with malware .. I want one that works like one in StarTrek Paris sucks. Britany Spears sucks. Sick of hearing about them including MJ on the news.
