pie-eater 207
Sources close to the Pope Benedict XVI are reported as saying "he's chuffing livid†after details of his up and coming talk in the "Thought for the Day" religion on Radio 4's flag ship breakfast news show "Today" were leaked . It's believed that Benedict (83) was due to reveal details of the second coming of Nelson Gabriel after Helen Archer under goes a virgin birth on the long running soap opera The Archers 60th anniversary edition. As well as this important news of the resurrection of the former owner of Borchester’s premier wine bar and antique dealership, it is believed the Pope was also going to clarify the Catholic churches views on the role of “Veal and Ham pie†in public life. It is also understood that the former Luftwaffenhelfer & Archbishop of Munich and Freising was preparing to issue an Papal Bull preparing the way for the beatification of Sid Perks following a number of miracles (notably the robot boy Ruairi Donovan learning to speak and the healing of Clarrie’s broken wrist) occurring in his name following the popular but pompous publican’s un-timely death earlier this year. BBC chiefs have rushed to placate the Vatican issuing the following statement "We apologise completely to his Holiness for this unfortunate leak (although like most people we secretly hoped Helen would go off to join Debbie Aldridge Hungary and leave us in peace). We hope that Pope Benedict will accept our offer of Christopher Hitchens to broadcast on Vatican radio on Christmas day as sign of our good faith along with 2 complimentary tickets for the pantomime and a tray of meat from Ambridge Organics." It is not known at the time of going to press if his Holiness is willing to accept this offer

If you're driving this winter. Be careful. That is awful Thursday. Another be careful story: Friends daughter and boyfriend recently arrived at the Welcome Center in Niseko. Boyfriend slipped on the ice as he got off the bus, broke his coccyx, hit his head knocking him senseless, so when he stood up he fell face first onto ice splitting his face open. Holiday over. I think I finally convinced #2 son to wear the ugly snow boots instead of the very cool but totally impractical Van's Sneakers.

big-will 7
Or, in some ways, very rich thing. What is the point where people start giving kids ludicrous names. How 'famous' do you need to be to tip you over that line.

HelperElfMissy 42
Separated from her one husband in 2000 because there were unable to conceive children. Seems all the children have been conceived from donor sperm in IVF procedures. Began with the 1st, a son in 2001. There was a total of 6 children from 4 pregnancies (if I am reading correctly) before the octuplets. She claimed the octuplets were the result of using up 6 frozen embryo's, two of whom split to be identical twins, however as time has gone on it is evident that none of the babies is identical. While her medical records are sealed there has also be conjecture that she never 'used any up', and had freshly fertilized embryo's every time. So 6 + 8 = 14. 14 children. With no present father, just a donor or donors.
