BagOfCrisps 24
Liverpool up at time of writing. Tricky one this. I don't want Chelsea to win. Ohhhh, no. But I don't want Liverpool to win either. Don't want them to get a point each either. Any other options? Having said that, in the big picture, I would see Chelsea as the stronger over the season so if anyone has to win, let it be them. Saying that disgusts me.
RobBright 35
Liverpool win 1 - 0 Now for Arsenal (COME ON!) vs West ham
bobby12 0
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! That was sweet. And we outplayed them. And we could have had 2 or 3 more... 4.5 years unbeaten at stamford bridge...

scouser 4
That is a fine looking table if ever there was one.
rach 1
I have seen better looking tables, but well done Liverpoo. Deserved that one, dominated and Chelsea looked curiously lethargic. Not happy about United losing some ground, but I'm sure we'll creep up there.

rach 1
Chelsea had a lot of possession but didn't look that dangerous, hardly any saves to make in the game.
bobby12 0
They couldn't break us down, I never felt worried apart from one or two small scares from Cole and Deco. I was glad Joe Cole and Drogba were out.
rach 1
Liverpool are looking very resilient at the moment.

grungy-gonads 54
It just doesn't look right does it? Liverpool top. Hull in third! Aston Villa! Difference this time with Liverpool from what I can tell is that they have got a really good start. And they are taking 3 points in games where last year they would have taken 1. Certainly contenders this time it looks.
RobBright 35
The thing that annoyed me last night from the reporting is how much they waxed on about Chelsea and Man Utd and how Liverpool had beaten them and that they were their only challengers. Would love it if Arsenal DESTROY liverpool.
rach 1
Those commentators are not the brightest at times. They can get very annoying with all their cliches every game they keep on coming out with.

bobby12 0
I dont like David Pleat. He actually analyses the game really well, but he speaks so badly he sounds like has gone senile already a little bit.
BagOfCrisps 24
I think he has gone senile bobby12. Great to see Chelsea get beat at Chavford Bridge, would have preferred Hull do it though. I don't know what I want apart from Arsenal to win, as you do.
2pints-mate 0
I refuse to accept the scousers coming and beating us. Wake me up someone! We just weren't that good yesterday. It was a frustrating game to watch. But Liverpool deserved to win.

I agree, don't think Liverpool outplayed them, they out defended them, some quality defending by the Scousers. Chelsea did not look as if they could score, but Liverpool didn't really have that many chances themselves. Well happy though, I have a soft spot for Liverpool.

scouser 4
The important point from the game is that we WON. Got 3 points. Looked solid. Winning the big games. Winning the less big games. Thats how leagues are won.
