big-will 7
But Chelsea aren't supposed to score 4 in one game.... isn't that 4 or 5 games quota?
BagOfCrisps 24
Lets hope that is just a one off. We cant have them getting exciting. They sure looked good though, although Portsmouth were a bag of rubbish.
rach 1
Very disappointing.
soubriquet 0
ManU 1, Newcastle 1. Excellent start to the season Take that Ronaldo fans :biff:
NoFakie 45
The Toon are a bit more spirited and organised now, but ManYoo look toothless with the big man in the stands. Rooney just wastes his talent and energy chasing the ball around like a little kid. In the first half, Spiderman memorably skinned him in the right back position. He's not going to score more goals for the team playing there. He's often called a nothing player, but Deco was class on Sunday. Aside from Big Phil, Mourinho tried to sign him a few times. On that performance, its easy to see why. An absolute steal at eight million.
giggsy 0
Deco did look very good. United did look very toothless. Oh well, we started off similar last year...
giggsy 0
I see that lovely man Mr Terry has been given back the England captaincy.

2pints-mate 0
A draw! Impressive!
BagOfCrisps 24
For the next game I think that Gerrard should definitely be played in defence, allowing Ferdinand to float up top and pop a few in there.
pie-eater 207
Good idea. And Rooney in goal.
2pints-mate 0
Another jammy win for Liverpool, but they are looking rubbish. 0 points for Arsenal and Spurs. What a shame.
BagOfCrisps 24
Bollocks would be my quote of the day I suppose.

pie-eater 207
0 points from 6. Not the best of starts for Wigan.
BagOfCrisps 24
Not impressed with Arsenal as well.
scouser 4
It is early days yet. With Spartak Moscow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko saying he to join Spurs, surely that will see Berbatov on to United. Very important Europe game to nail-bite to coming up.
grungy-gonads 54
Liverpool could be OUT of the Champions League this time tomorrow. Surely they can beat those boys tonight though, especially at Anfield. Got the footie pack back on sky, is that game on tonight?
scouser 4
I was just checking that myself gg. Yes, it's on: 08/27 (æ°´) 28:00 リãƒãƒ—ール vs スタンダール・リエージュ Ch.253 I cannot contemplate not winning.
pie-eater 207
The first leg you played totally miserably. Anfield should take you through though - it'll be a huge kick in the teeth if you don't. No pressure of course.
bobby12 0
Getting knocked out of champions league is the only way we will be able to challenge properly for the premiership. We have had champions luck the first two games so who knows maybe this is our year.
