brit-gob 9
You are going to have no nails left this season if they keep on waiting until extra time to get the points!
pie-eater 207
Good second half there though, worth a watch. I always knew Liverpool would win* (* well I didn't actually) but it was a real close one.
2pints-mate 0
Prayers were answered at the church last night there scouser I see. Cutting it fine though. Isn't that the 3rd game in a row you have scored and won in extra time?

scouser 4
Quite pleased with that draw - also that we're not having 6 hour flights there and back. Chelsea probably have the trickiest there out of the England bunch.
BagOfCrisps 24
Always difficult to say. The unknowns can often cause all sorts of problems. Looking forward to that though.
2pints-mate 0
Quote: Everton have announced they have agreed to sign Manchester United's Louis Saha, subject to a medical. He might as well not take the trip across to Liverpool then!
pie-eater 207
I see United lost that mickey mouse cup last night. They're not looking the same without Ronnie Ronaldo are they.
scouser 4
Well I can cope with that. They'll probably have Berbatov by the end of Monday though, he will be a good signing. Had to laugh at this doing the rounds regarding 'glass man' Saha moving to Everton, depending on a medical Quote: Manchester United have today confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Everton for their Physiotherapist to join the Merseyside club on a two year deal subject to Louis Saha failing a medical. Sir Alex Ferguson told the Sun that he was reluctant to let him go but with Saha gone there could be no place for him in the medical room and the physio could not be assured of any patients, so asked for a move alongside Saha. Toffees manager David Moyes was clearly delighted with the deal. "he got a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable, and if we are to push for a fourth place finish in the table this season we need to make sure Louis gets the very best treatment available whilst he is injured for the next 35 games" Moyes wasnt the only one celebrating. Liverpool General Hospital were clearly delighted at the move as the impending arrival of the french International meant they could shelve plans to close their accident and emergency department. With an assurance of at least one patient every week the hospital managers were delighted to announce the reversal of the decision to close the unit. Saha arrived at United in a hail of publicity from Premiership rivals Fulham, arriving in a twelve million pound deal ( well Thirteen if you include the ambulance and wheelchair to get him to Old Trafford )... His career ( or lack of it ) at United has been one of missed chances, broken toenails and the very rare sight of him actually playing a game. Fergie reluctantly agreed to release the striker, knowing United are woefully short on strikers, but given Saha was as reliable as an Austin Maxi with engine trouble, he felt he had no choice. "hes been a tremendous patient.. I mean player for United. Hes worked hard and really put the effort in. We've had to replace three exercise bikes this year alone" the Old Trafford boss explained. " hopefully with the money that those mugs.. erm I mean Everton paid we are hoping to replace Louis at the earliest opportunity. The scouts are trawling the cemetaries as we speak to see if we can find someone with the same attributes as him"
2pints-mate 0
It will be so funny if United don't get Berbatov, though I reckon they probably will...
thursday 1
I am seriously not excited until the last few months. Come on you spurs....
BagOfCrisps 24
You mean the last few months of a season? The only time I am not excited is the period from end of season to beginning of new one. (It's very tiring). Arsenal back on form last night.
scouser 4
Very disappointing last night. First half was terrible, second not much better and Villa looked like scoring near the end. Good to see Chelsea drop points as well though.
pie-eater 207
Hull 0-5 Wigan Now there's a good result!
rach 1
Nice one. Scoring 5 in a game is always good! United are looking shaky. The papers this morning are very quiet on the Berbatov story.... will there be enough time, will they sell? Oh, it's exciting.
big-will 7
Quote: Benitez said: "We will have to see what the scan shows tomorrow. When you lose Steven Gerard and then Torres, it is always a problem. BIG problem!
BagOfCrisps 24
Already no team with 100% after just 3 games.
NoFakie 45
Citeh with new owners have bid more than 30 mill for the Berb! They mightn't get him, but its the funniest story in ages! At least ManYoo will have to pay big.
rach 1
Why would Berbatov want to join Manchester City? Answer - unless he's just simply daft, he wouldn't. He wanted to leave spurs to play in the champions league and his 'dream move' to United. Haha, let's see. And City & Spurs are fighting for the same space in the table, so you wouldn't think Spurs would want to spell. Trying to squeeze more cash from United?
pie-eater 207
Red herring.
rach 1
Quote: SSN understands he's on his way to Manchester, but they don't know whether he's having a medical with United or City. Couldn't make it up could you?
NoFakie 45
Spuds have accepted the bid, and Sparky has lined up a meeting. The word is that the new owners have 875 BILLION. Even Berb goes to ManYoo, they'll have to pay big like Rooney.
rach 1
Then it might not be in our interests to sign him now. Can't see him wanting to join Citeh though, reasons above. Unless of course it's huge wads of cash that he wants instead. Surely a footie player wouldn't be swayed by money. I don't believe it! In other news.... Saha passed his medical.
