Really? I rate him and as long as Benitez plays him alongside Torres I reckon Liverpool could do alright. I think though that Liverpool should try to buy players with their pedigree's already made as opposed to some of the "maybe gonna be good" players that Benitez usually buys (not Torres obviously!)

Not having all that much cash = all the more reason not to blow 20m of it on Robbie Keane.

Spurs seem to do well at raping other Premier League clubs don't they. confused

I wonder what inflated number they will get from us for Berbatov is he eventually makes the move.

Villa now saying the Barry deal is off. I think they will end up lowering their price and we will get him, maybe on last day of the transfer window. They surely don't want him at the club now after what has happened.

Quote:
REAL MADRID are preparing one final £60million bid to land Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United insist their Portuguese winger is not for sale. But last night Real boss Bernd Schuster confirmed: “The club are working hard to get a solution. We knew it was going to be very complicated.

“It’s not going to be easy for Ronaldo to come to Madrid but we will have to see.â€

Ronaldo, 23, is due to return to United this week after his holiday following his ankle op.

Hilarious. "One final bid"?? They haven't made an initial bid yet. Beggars belief the quality of the 'reporting' on this.

Ole is a legend. clap
He is staying on as a coach yes.

not long now.

Ronaldo is either a) going to Manchester today or B) refusing to go to Manchester today, depending on which media you read.

And United have no strikers (other than glassman Saha) to play with now that Rooney has some exitic virus. What a shame.

* Having said that, we don't have much either. doh
