  1. I got rid of an old computer the other week. I decided that the best way to get rid of the hard drive was to smash it up. I had a great time with a big hammer.
  2. Thats insane! The best deal I have experienced was 2000 yen for 2 hours. But I hate the way parties here have their official finish time - it's usually just when things are getting interesting that the cold damp cloth is thrown over proceedings!
  3. Interesting that, I had no idea. I have never heard of it. What config do most new computers come in?
  4. You'll see a fair different between 4 and 7 (there sure was between 4 and 6). I like that software - easy to use not too complicated.
  5. Been to some good pensions. Like Mr Wiggles says the food can really vary and range from very bland/poor to superb.
  6. I check my tie sometimes before a meeting but avoid much more.... I'm shy.
  7. He did the same with Villeneuve as well didn't he. It makes you wonder just how he can get away with being a cheating git for so long. (Yes, I know it will somehow have everything to do with money....)
  8. I have met my friend again and mentioned this thread - nipples, lasers and all. He might join up sometime and join in....
  9. Quote: Sounds sad but I really hope there is a terror attack on Japan and that it's commited by Japanese, that would stick it up them! A sad thing to hope for, but no it wouldn't change anything at all apart from just being another issue/problem. Anyway, there have been terror attacks in Japan by Japanese already haven't there?
  10. I bet "Middleman C Charbroiled 2 Gwenda" is a bit difficult to get into Japanese
  11. I was round my Japanese friends house the other day and he showed me his first set of skis. Incredible they were, from many decades ago. Quote: Lund Skis made by Christian Lund: Christian Lund was a Norwegian immigrant who founded the Northland Ski Company in 1911 and was direct competition with Strand. There were plenty of skiers and few manufacturers, therefore much work for all. They had two factories, one in St. Paul Minnesota and later added another in Laconia, NH. Their first season they sold over 4000 Pair of skis. Most of his buyers were expert ski jumpers and racer
  12. Quote: My only true ambition in life was to live amongst snow and mountains. Been one of the things I really want to do as well. Looks like I might make it next year
  13. So what will these guys be doing round now at this time of year? Taking a rest (for her maybe in Hakuba?)
  14. There's a fair few resorts closed now, even with the huge amounts of snow still left. You'd think they would open a bit longer, especially with people willing to still spend...
  15. Thats 40,000 more than me. What are they like then? Anyone happy to speak up?
  16. Domu did seem like a bit of a fool, overdid it I thought. And they seemed to have such high hopes for the Japanese crew, well according to the commentators anyway who at the beginning seemed to be saying that it would be between the Americans and the Japanese!
  17. Angel Pie or Choco Pie? For me Angel Pie wins, due to that lovely marshmallow part in the middle.
