It's a long journey, it's an exciting time - want to stay somewhere nice, not just cheap.

Well it's a journey to get to Japan so a weekend isn't possible. So 2nd week of Jan is our holiday.

Niseko, 2nd week of Jan

Snow overnight. Sun from 9am. Snow at lunchtime. Sun from 1pm. Snow from 6pm until early morning. etc.

Had a few issues at first (it was an upgrade) but they were fairly quickly sorted. Other than that, pretty decent I think.

Interesting, I wonder if that would work with the BBC iplayer that lets you watch all the programs from the last week or so. I'll have to try that.

Out of interest, is it the not smoking that makes the weight go on (for some reason) or something about the smoking that keeps it off?
