  1. And again this morning. It's rainier than it was in rainy season.
  2. I was watching the news on the BBC today and they always seem to be liking him.
  3. I thought that was last week with the typhoon, but the rain that is coming down right now may well be stronger. The raindrops are more like rainballs. Freeeeky.
  4. I have no excuse for a low number living so close to the hills. I'll plump for 30-40.
  5. Not sure I'd want one of that going off scaring the shit out of me whenever a big truck comes round.
  6. It's sweet where I live. NEar to it all in Yuzawa, a few more local places, not that far from Myoko/Arai/Nozawa and Nagano and Gunma are reachable too.
  7. I had a lot of fun when I played GTA the other day...... (didn't find any sex game though )
  8. In the last week or so I've come across some pretty strange shop names in the region I live A sunacku bar called "Poison" A club called "Blind Drunk" A barber called "Men's Perm Lemon" There was one more I can't rememeber right now, I'll post it when it comes back to me. Any more?
  9. I thought it was just going to be "jane", but me jane! funny.
  10. No picture there me jane. (A bigger version of your avatar will do though)
  11. Here in Niigata it is really cool.... yesterday and today it's only just risen about 20. A fair bit of rain last night and today as well.
  12. Are there many speed cameras on the roads/expressways here? I can't recall seeing many, just some lined up on the expressway. Well until today maybe there was a series of strange new things at the side of the road that looked like they could be cameras. There were about 4 within 1km, each with some white light that seemed to flash when someone was going fast.
  13. I've seen a few other positive reviews, lets hope they are not just pr crap and it really is decent. It's out here next week right?
  14. A place near where I live called hotarunosato, lots of them there. They started appearing about a week ago, and they stick around for about a month I think.
  15. The Canada one was a good race, there have been a few decent ones this season actually. Agreed about the qualifying - they made a right mess of that.
  16. I remember Oct 23rd last year when the lights were out for a night. Apart from the fact it was a scary night anyways, you suddenly realise how important they are.
  17. Easy one that. Just after the crazy 4 or 5 days of snow early February. 4 of us went up to Kagura and got the first runs in. The snow was incredible, the crowds non-existant. Hell, even the curry rice tasted good!
  18. The only thing it has going for it really is the early and late season.
  19. It is a tradition of the Yamakoshi village (you know, the mountain village that got totally destroyed). Still no-one lives in the village and it will take quite some time to get back to any kind of normality (whatever that will be!). They wanted to keep the bull fight tradition going this year, and so did it in nearby Nagaoka city (actually Yamakoshi is not officially part of Nagaoka).
