5 mins walk + 25 mins train for me. Manageable but less than fun especially in hot and humid summer.

Totally agree, I can't understand it either. Unless 'most people are just gormless idiots' explains it (which it may well!) What really annoys me is the near total absence of criticism with regards the quality of Michael Jackson's recorded work. For every decent song there is a steaming pile of dung like 'Heal the World'. But across the television networks there is a blanket acceptance that just about everything he did was genius, which is quite obviously bollocks.

Just so funny no matter how many times I see it. The extras on the DVD are clasic too. I wonder how their tour is http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2009/may/30/spinal-tap-new-tour Unwigged and unplugged? Hmmm.

Tell them coz there's such a small chance you could get away with it. Oh yes, and because it would be the right thing to do. -

Quote: Labour MP Khalid Mahmood is the latest to be sucked into the expenses scandal. He stayed at a five-star hotel in London with his girlfriend and charged hundreds of pounds to the taxpayer as his second home allowance. Mahmood, who is the MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, claimed a total of £1,350 for nine nights stay over a four-week period in 2004, when he stayed at The Bentley hotel in Kensington. He also claimed £1,225 for five nights stay in 2008. Mahmood used the hotel after separating from partner Nasim Akhtar, with whom he lived in Wembley, though this address was not given o -

Suginohara & Myoko
Error404 replied to Myoko Guy's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I don't know Myoko well at all, and from that position I can safely say that all the names confuse me - a more united "Myoko" would certainly be easier to grasp what it is other than the multiple resorts/companies/whatever. I am well aware that it is rather complex in terms of who owns what etc etc, just thought I'd make the point. -
Is that still popular? Hated it back then, bet I still do now.

Learning new stuff on my computer (new to Photoshop)
Error404 replied to brit-gob's topic in General off-topic discussions
That lift is groovy. I have spent the last few years learning --- very very very slowly --- Photoshop. I think I'm about 5% there now. Always great when you discover something new though. It's like a moment when you just regret not sitting down and reading it up before. -

Good one. Next, he will want a car! I remember failing my first driving test. I thought the world had crumbled on top of me. (It hadn't).
