  1. I have a solution for this very serious problem: wash/change the shower head often. Ta-daa!
  2. Needs a lot of time investment I prefer a more arcadey type racer.
  3. That sounds more like War of the Worlds to me
  4. You must keep up with the celebs more. Just on the lunchtime news, Mr Hatoyama and his wife walked around their neighbourhood on Saturday and bought some bread in a local bakery shop. It came to 1103 yen total, 4 pieces. They even told us what bread they bought which was particularly interesting I think. Oh yes it was raining too, so they used an umbrealla.
  5. I am going to need a lot of convincing on this cloud idea.

  7. It's a strong rumor. Haven't they all done the auditions already though? Presumably Abdul will be in all those.
  8. Request: Summer Holidays (or alternatively, Cliff Richard)
  9. Here's a game that is addictive. Almost embarrassed to say it, but a friend lent it me. Professor Layton and the Curious Village, on the DS.
  10. I had a proper haggis once. It tasted really good actually, wouldn't mind it again. Perhaps one of those things best tasted where they belong. Never had or even heard of a "White Pudding" though.

  12. ...will that make him one of the longest-serving Japanese PMs in history? Quote: The ruling coalition of Japan's PM Taro Aso has been defeated in a Tokyo local election seen as a key popularity test prior to general elections. Reports say the loss to the opposition Democratic Party (DPJ) could lead Mr Aso to dissolve parliament this week. The DPJ won 54 seats to 38 for Mr Aso's Liberal Democratic Party, ending four decades of dominance in the assembly. The defeat could also increase pressure on Mr Aso to quit as LDP leader before the national poll due by September.
  13. That is a lot. Skiing ain't a cheap pastime - well as far as I know anyway. If I can afford to and am shelling out I'd rather shell that little bit more for the experience. Anyhows how is the exchange rate for us yen-earners (Europe) right now? If it's as weak as the pound, might be worth a visit in winter.
  14. Knowing (or understanding) as little as I do, it is difficult to say much. Isn't the first version over a year off anyway?
  15. A family who tried to lure back a lost dog by leaving a trail of their urine on streets near their home have been criticised by the city council. The Baltesz family, of Clifton, Bristol, lost their 10-year-old pet labrador Simon on the night of 4 July. When Simon failed to return, the family chose their unorthodox method. A Bristol City Council spokeswoman said: "We would not consider this to be a good idea from an environmental health point of view." Louise Baltesz, 43, said the whole family had been "chipping in" to help lay down the scent trail. She said she was
  16. What sort of thing do you do SantaCruz? Involved with Windows?
  17. Little children lose their parents every day. I am quite sure that they will be looked after better than lots of others elsewhere in the world.
